We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and representing clients in dealings with tax authorities.
Threshold Competencies
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
- Interpret and analyze laws, regulations, and policies affecting the organization’s operations.
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and proactively advise management on potential legal impacts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant legal requirements and protect the organization’s interests.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Provide support for board meetings, resolutions, and other corporate legal matters.
Job Qualifications
- Arabic speaker
- Tax Agent Certification is mandatory
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a consulting firm in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
- Familiarity with the taxation laws and regulations in the UAE
- Previous experience working with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) would be advantageous.
